Iron Cube is out on Google Play
Tank multiplayer combat in a voxel world
Iron Cube, a multiplayer tank combat game in a voxel world, is now ported to Android and free on the Google Play store.
It runs on any device with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or later. I tested it on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, a Galaxy Note 4 and a Galaxy Note 2.
There are three levels and two tanks for now. The M1 is heavier and hits harder than the Merk, but it is slower. Two players can play over a local Wi-Fi network, or connect their phones directly with Wi-Fi Direct. You can also fight an AI-controlled bot. To win you have to destroy the enemy tank five times. The bot is good, and it kills me quite often. Enemies usually spawn on the opposite side of the map, and a destroyed tank respawns.
The whole environment is destructible, and the water is dynamic.
